I am linking a pic of my 2012 Ram 1500 4x4. Wanting to go 4 inch lift with 34" tires because of 3.55 gears. Don't want to lose to much gas mileage and performance. But not sure if I should go with Chrome accents like it has, or Black out. If you have pics of your truck in this color it may help me decide. Thanks in advance

Real nice truck and real nice plan. I'd black it out, you are almost there anyway.

Thanks! You have a leveling kit on your truck. Would that be a wiser choice than a 4" lift kit. I am only going with 34" tires so 4" lift may be to much. Again I only have 3.55 gears.

A level will be fine with 34's, and probably wiser for sure. I have those gears as well.

With any lift, you will lose some mpg. I'm one of those rare guys on here that like a little chrome, but not alot of chrome...just a little here and there.

Are those your only 2 choices, chrome or black out? I just de-badged my truck and I love the clean/smooth look!

Great looking truck, the current color, de-badged, and black accents will look killer. Black Moto Metal 969 rims w/inserts painted the color of the truck, just sayin'

Wow that's exactly what I'd do and I'd go with the 4" to avoid st stuffed look ,but some like the stuffed look.

De-badge is also an option. I am going to try plasti dip to give me an idea of what black out would look like. I am also thinking Bilstein 5100 leveing kit and a 1.5" body lift. It is not much, but will give me a little lift for now. With a 4" inch lift on 34" tires I am afraid the tires will look to small.

Wow I really like that option. Very nice choice on rims, They will probably be on the list for sure. And de-badging is an option after I try black out.

Here you go... my long term goals is a 2 inch body lift and new chrome rims and 35" tires. I'm pleased how the Bilsteins handle, but I know I need new tires. The factory tires suck.

The leveling kit raised my front 2.5 inches...and I installed a 1 inch rear spacer to raise the rear.
