Need Help With Headlight

I need help identifying wtf is going on with this aftermarket headlight. Went to install it and realized one of the headlight housing compartments is different.

Just wondering what type of bulb would go in here? Its going on my 2012 Ram 1500. Any help would be appreciated, please see attached picture.

Should be a 9005, you are switching from stock quads?

Yep. I wanted a more stock looking black housing set but was given these for free... figured I'd try em out.

How would a 9005 fasten into the rear of the headlight with that odd metal piece there? I'm use to the normal half turn receptacles.

Sorry 9012 it's the projector style bulb for our trucks that changes. Like the factory projector headlights. Should be able to find the headlight housing online and it tell you what bulb fits.

It looks like you're missing a metal clip to hold the bulb in. Can probably find one at theretrofitsource and just a guess, but likely h1 bulb.

Ya I'm not sure. I'm thinking it may be designed for a 9005/HB3 LED style bulb although I'm still not sure how it would fasten in. Thanks for the help guys

All of these aftermarket eBay "projector style" headlights all run the same low beam bulbs, H1 style.

Your missing the metal clip and your also missing the wires that plug into the H1 bulb and the other end is a plug for the Ram side ofnthe headlight wiring.
