Hello all, I am looking into some aftermarket rims/tires. I seem to find that I know nothing regarding offset/backspace. I currently have 4x4 with factory 17" with 265/70 and I'm looking into getting some 285's or possibly some 315's but I don't think I'll fit those without a lift.

I am looking into a set of pro comps with a offset of 6.6 and backspace of 4.75. I think this will be fine with a set of 285 tires, however if I got with some 315's would this rim work? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

Those rims will work with either width tire, and will stick out from the fender. The question is what height tire are you wanting? Assuming you are stock height truck?

Yes I am at stock height right now. I think I'm going to go for 315's. Good price right now in some BFG's. I'll just start to look into a front leveling kit.

The bilstein 5100 works. I am waiting an email back regarding a set of FOX 2.0 adjustable shocks. If that falls through I'll probably go the bilstein route.
