I did a few chops when I saw your first pic.

Nice! I'd love to see the grille body color. I almost went that route and still might at some point.

Funny, I just saw this. I bought the black transformer projectors for $140...Cant beat the price.
Going to install them tomorrow.

So what will be the difference between a H9 bulb and H11B?
The light output still will be good with H9s?
Does that transformer logo cause any problems? Can you see it?

Did yours come with the resistors for the turn signals so they don't hyper flash?

No, but I have some already installed since I have switchbacks(which I will miss) now.

But looking over the swap on installing the 2013 LED tails. One guy posted saying you can go to the delar and have them flash some code LBQ to Exterior LED lighting, which turns off the bulb-out sensor and prevents the hyperflash.

I wonder if it would fix the LED issue up front too since the 2013 Projectors have LED turn signals.

I swapped out the Morimoto H9 bulbs for Morimoto XB H11B 35 watt bulbs. I stayed with 5000k and the light output is much nicer now.

Yes. These are the stock transformers projectors with XB H11B bulbs and Morimoto 3Five 35 Watt ballasts. At this point I'm not going to swap to FX-R's. The FX-R's would give a bit better cut-off and they are better at edge illumination but I'm pretty happy with these.

For those asking about resistors in these headlights, the vendor is pretty clueless. I do know the black non-transformer set I bought measured 10 ohms and did not hyper flash.
