I installed the new front bilsteins on my truck and set it to the second Notch from the top then I took it to the shop to get the wheel alignment checked they called and said they need to change the upper essentrics cuz the toe-in is too exaggerated. I thought II setting was okay and didn't need anything extra

I will have a 2nd. opinion.
I though, all the threads I've read on this subject said nothing else was needed unless you went all the way up? Then you would need different upper control arms.

I'd find another shop.
The toe adjustment is set by adjusting the tie rod ends, Not the eccentrics on the upper control arm.

Did you install the coil cup in the right direction on the Bilsteins?

Absolutely, I also called and talked to their tech guy and he said you really don't have to do anything else. Even on the top setting you don't really have to change the upper control arm.

You have read and researched correctly. Find another shop, for sure.

I'm at 2.1 for a little over a year with no issues. The shop I went to had no problems doing the alignment.

So I did take it to another shop and they aligned it with no problem, that first shop either didn't know what they were doing or wanted to sell me something I didn't need
