New hood

What kinda hood should I get?

What would you get?

I like the sport hood but they're everywhere...and expensive for OE looking equipment.

There is a reason why they are everywhere because they look good. That was the biggest reason why I bought a sport. Where are some good aftermarket but they fit like ****.

With the black and silver theme of your truck, I think the black inserts on the hood would sort of "break up" the massive silver hood look(if that makes any sense)

I think sport hoods look best on darker colored trucks, lighter colored ones it makes the hood look to stubby. I'd look for a high quality fiberglass hood if it was me. I've seen a few of them installed locally and they look really nice.

Don't they offer the "ram air" kit for the sport hood now? I could have sworn I saw that as an option on the "night" edition trucks?!

See that's my thinking....if I'm gonna spend a bunch for a new hood, why not get somethin ya don't see on every other ram in town.

I don't think it looks any different, it's all under the hood so it might look like every other sport hood, just offers a little something extra. Trying to locate where I saw this........
