New Rims and Tires

My wife has given me the go ahead to order rims and tires, along with a bilsteins lift.

I will be purchasing the bilstein 5100's and installing them very shortly.

I plan to go with 35's x 12.50. Looking at a -24 offset 20x10 wheel.

What are some more of the popular choices for our trucks?

Could you all post some pictures of your Wheel/lift,level setups since we have no dedicated "show me your wheels" thread.

Looking to get an idea of what would look best with my white laramie, which has a few chrome items on it from the factory.

I've been looking for weeks and at so many options, hard to visualize though.

Maybe this will turn into a "show me your wheels" thread :roflsquared:

Here is my 17' Sport on 20x9 -0mm offset Cali Off-road Obnoxious (Satin Black and machined) with 35x12.50r20 NTG tires. My Bilsteins are set at 2.8".

Quick question, do your tires stick out from the sides? and if so how far would a -24 offset stick out?

Mine stick out about an inch. I believe -24 would stick out 3-4 inches. Someone with a -24 could confirm.

Here's mine with 4" lift, bils set at .7, 35x12.5r20 BFGs and 20x10 -18 wheels. -24 offset should stick out about .25" more I believe.

If you haven't already checked out the gallery at customwheeloffset.com you should. Also, sites like discountedwheelwarehouse.com will let you see what the wheels look like on your truck too if you use their configurator.

With that wheel and tire combo make sure to set your bilsteins at 2.8

It really depends. I needed 5" backspacing with minimal tire sticking out. 20x9 was my best bet because -0mm offset gave me 5" backspacing. If I went with 20x10, I believe I would had to have -18mm offset which sticks out further.

I'm thinking of going with a 20x10 wheel with at least a -18 up to a -24 offset.

Thinking of going with the 35x12.5x20 Atturo Trailblade Xt's

Will have Bilsteins at either 2.1 or 2.8. Will I have any rubbing issues?

I'm looking at 18" rims. However, there's more 18x9 rims to choose from than 18x10. I was thinking of getting 33x12.5 tires until I get my lift installed, then I'll go 35x12.5. But it seems fitting a 12.5" tire on a 9" rim is kind of pushing it.

many people put 12.5 wide tires on 9" rims
