tires on factory rims for about 4 years with no clearance issues. I now
need new tires and thing about getting 315 / 70r / 17 I know I need to get offset rims just don't know what off set I need can someone give me an idea as to what rim size I would need to purchase to run this bigger size .

Try posting this in the 3rd Gen area. Most people reading the 4th Gen section won't know.

You need at least 4.5" backspacing I think. So either 1.25" wheel spacers and your stock rims, or new rims. Either 17x8 or 17x9 will work, as long as they have at least 4.5" backspacing
