Hey guys, looking for some sizing help from so hopefully someone has been down this road before.

I'm planning on upgrading my 0 offset 18" fuel boosts to -12 to gain about another inch of lip. But my search for tires has me wondering. My 35" Coopers seem to have ran small in height and width so I'm considering Toyos. I had these on my previous CTD and they wore well but were SUPER heavy. Is the extra weight very noticeable on the hemi's?

I'm planning on running 35x12.50s again, but these 315/70/18s are peaking my interest. They are less than an inch wider (labeled 36x13), and would be a nice option as i don't want to jump to 37s. I'm concerned about the 13" width of an already wide toyo however. My current tires are quite close to my steering knuckles as is, and I'm not sure if another 1/2 out with the new wheels will let me clear these wider tires.

Anyone have -12 9 wides with 12.50 toyos? I'd be curious how much clearance you have to the knuckle

Nope no rock chips or nothing the only problem I had was rubbing up front but it was fixed with some 1 1/2 adaptors i Believe that's what's all the way around. That's why they looked more stuck out than Normal.

Did they make the truck seem to work alot harder? It looks like the toyos are about 18 pounds heavier each than the new stt pros. I prefer the look of the toyos. Maybe my tune and longtubes will make it alittle less noticeable with less of a mpg hit

Defiantly the truck works a bit harder to get off the line. Once moving pretty easy to keep going. I'm tuned as well by HF, got a swap in 50 series HD, flow master, and a CAI. My only downfall is that I have the 3:21 rear end sucks for towing. Other than that truck works just fine besides my annoying knock. MPG Wise on the 89 oct tune I'll get around 13-14 mpg filled up last Sunday and I'm at half a tank Friday today . Full tank last about a week depending how much I'm feeling like a teenager lol.

I could see the 3.21s being a big part of that. I lucked out and found a truck with 3.92s. Im prolly making a bigger deal outta this than it is. My truck has zero isses with these 35s and plenty of people run 37s with this setup. Id love 37s but idk how that will work out for me, i have my fair share of mountains around and still haul/ tow with my truck.

Then again 81 pound 35" toyos vs 74 pound 37" cooper has me wondering.... lol

Exactly why I chose the pros over another set of toyos. The weight difference along with being wayyyy cheaper.

I have felt a bit of "peppiness" increase actually...at least from the butt-dyno once I got rid of my toyos and added these pro's. It's like she went on a diet lol

You have the 3.92's and already are use to 35's....you probably won't notice much difference than say someone going from stock tires to 37's.

Granted my mind changes like the weather with wheels/ tire wants. But i think im going to run the toyos in 35 or maybe those 315s. They are about the same weight as a 37 stt pro on a 20. So my theory is they should be easier on the truck as they are still a smaller diameter.

On another note, id give the Pros a shot on the 18s i want but i feel they are going to look pretty small. They went away from a standard sized 35 to a 305/70 for 18s. The specs look narrow, and my current coopers already seem narrow for a 12.50

True.

I went from 13.50 to 12.50 and they are way narrower looking....which I actually kinda like.

The 13.50's looked super wide on my truck.
