Ok so I think the wheels and tires stick out a bit much but looks pretty stout. What I can't believe is how noticeable the rolling resistance is. Yes I went from a 9" wide to a 12.5" wide tire but wow! Mpg is in the toilet lol...however truck looks like a beast

I dig the look like most dudes and gals who posted similar set ups however I am concerned about salt and such tearing up paint. I live in Northeast massachsuetts. However only live once so viva la lifted rig!
Oh and the wide 12.5 tire assaulted my mpg hahaha

What setup was factory? My truck had 33x11 or 275/60 factory. How do the tires sound on the road? I like the way they look

Factory was 265-60-20 i think.
The tires are MT hybrid. Not going to blow smoke not nearly as quiet as Goodyears. I hear the hum. It's not crazy but notice it. Not as bad as my 95 bronco on TKOs or 86 Jimmy on god knows what they were but it just went from a quiet truck..to a truck.

Its not so much the tire width that flushed your MPG's down. Its more the added weight of the rim/tire combo. Taller tires will also mess with your MPG if that changed.
Sometimes people think their MPG's are less than it actually is. If the tire is taller, your odometer is reading less than it actually is. So it may look like its dropped a bunch, but only because the right numbers are being used in the equation.

Ok I didn't think of that. I think they are only 3/4 taller if not mistaken however they defiantly weigh more. Before if I put in drive truck would roll forward wt no gas. Now it's almost stuck and have to press gas pedal. Thanks for heads up!

When I went from stock tires (which weighed very little) to Toyo 35 x 12.5 x 20 and Rockstar rims my fuel mileage went into the toilet too!!! I mean REALLY bad!!! That being said....I can live with it as I love the look of the truck. I also put on Bushwacker Pocket fender flares to protect the truck as the new wheel stick out quite a bit.

Yeah I'm going to be going wt a set. Thoughts on mudflaps? Just installed ram molded...useless. I also am like whatever wt MPG...more excuse to see if free flow exhaust and intake actually give better MPG lol

I'm looking to pickup some fuel beasts this week. What size, offset did you go with? Tire size?
