Off-road bumpers

Long-time member/lurker, first time posting. I hit a snow-covered tree stump and broke my 1500 factory bumper cover. Rather than replacing it with a similar flimsy bumper I have been thinking about getting a deer-splitting off road bumper, I like the ICI Magnum or the Iron Bull and to a lesser extent the Warn Ascent. To those who have such bumpers on their 1500's, does the extra weight makes any difference in the fuel economy, acceleration, handling etc.? does the weight makes the front end drop down?, for now my suspension is all stock, my next mod is the Bilsteins adjustable shock to give it a slight lift. Any input will be appreciated, thanks!

I put a trailready bumper grilleguard on my 2016 1500. the bumperis about 350lbs and the winch was 150lbs.The truck has a 6 inch lift and the front did drop 1.25 inchs.The fuel milage did not change and the truck seams to handle the same.Trailready makes a nice heavy duty bumper that match the curve of the truck perfect.Even the grilleguardcurves to match the shape.

Nice looking truck, it looks bada** with the bumper/lift.

Thanks for the review I already checked it out, looks great. It was actually my first choice, too bad they take several weeks to be delivered.

I just pulled the trigger on the ICI Magnum. 150 lbs, looks great and it fits the 1500. Got a good deal on auto anything, in stock, free shipping and will be delivered in a couple weeks. Will review and post pictures once I get it.

This is their rear matching. Don't mind the chrome tails and tips, they are the next to go.
