So I found a deal on CL that I might be able to take advantage of this weekend, depending on the guy's response. My question is...are 24s too big? I know I'll feel them power and mpg wise, but I'm not overly concerned with that.

I used to swear I would never roll larger than 22s, but the 24s look pretty proportioned on the new body style...here's a truck with the exact same drop (exact same kit, to the brand) and exact same tire size as what I'm considering:

Here's the ad...I know they aren't as fancy as some, but I'm a simple five spoke kind of person:

24's

Opinions?

my 22's come real close to the fender walls so i think 24's might be to big

I think they would look really good on ure truck. I would consider two things though in ure shoes. 1. why does he want to get rid of those really nice wheels for the wheels that were prol once on that truck to begin with? 2. are you gonna keep them chrome or go black?

Just depends on how much you want to spend on your tires lol.

No doubt...I'll just swap them when it's time, lol.

The black truck I posted has the exact same drop and the exact same tire size as what I'm getting and I spoke to him tonight, he said no problems unless he was at full lock and hit a large bump.

He had a work provided truck but he lost that benefit when his position changed so now his truck has to be a DD again and he can't afford the gas and such.

Chrome.......for now.

Depending on the backspacing, my BOSS 330's rub @ full lock on the sway bar. But I'm running 305/35R24's...

I think 22s or even some other 20s would look better on there anyways

I think he was trying to pull more cash out of me...he sent a "Give me a bit, another guy who texted me before you is coming by to look at them." text. I just told him to take that guy's deal, I'm not waiting like a puppy. About an hour later he said the guy had the wrong wheels...too bad buddy. I run on my time, not yours. I bought a S&W M&P 9mm instead. :D
