Upgraded my light bar to opt-7's newest bar. Didn't want to connect it to tow plug so I added an auxillary town plug underneath truck so where it plugs in can't be seen. PS: don't mind the commentary lol I was originally taking video to brag to my buddies lol very happy with product tho!!!

I'd be tempted to get that if it didn't have those ugly yellow turn lights

Doesn't that cover up the spare tire access hole? I was thinking of getting one but looks like you would cover the hole up.

Comes with a plug and extra wire so u can wire one up. Or if for some reason it doesn't u can pick up a 4 pin wiring harness from autozone or any auto store.

Your referring to the trailer hitch wiring adapter. I've done 2 of these and the adapter makes life much easier. Plug and play for the 4 pin and just need to put a tap for the revers lighting in the harness adapter and your done.

Yes plug and play ... However I didn't want mine plugged into the standard plug at rear bumper area... So I just wired in a "pig tail adapter" that way it wasn't exposed and I didn't have to look at the connection

This is a great idea! I need some help on wire colors. What color wires does ram use for its four way connector?

Just use this 5 pin adapter, Im on my 2nd one on 2nd truck.
All Wires are behind bumper out of sight! The bare pin on the adapter is for the reverse wire and I added a female rubber sealed connector to the white wire from the opt7 for reverse.

A trailer five flat and four flat are interchangeable, the only difference if the five flat also has the reverse pin, which is commonly used for a reverse lock out solenoid on surge brakes.
The cost difference between the four and five flat adapters is minimal.

Which light bar did you use? I like that you don't see individual LEDs when its illuminated....

It’s the most updated one. There is individual led lights but they are much smaller and there’s more of them giving the appearance of a “laser beam” LOL
