Plasti-dip?

i know some of you have done this, is this easy to f*** up?

i mean it seems pretty self explanatory... but what were the procedures you all did. thanks

i am planning to plasti-dip my chrome clads

Its literally as easy as it sounds. Really no prep work involved other than just have a clean surface. It's great stuff.

On my chrome clad 20s, I just cleaned off with window cleaner then sprayed on the plasti dip. It held up great until I sold them.

so just tape off where i don't want it to be sprayed and spray away? haha well i guess il have to try it

Idk if window cleaner is the best to use lol
It leaves a slight film but I dont think plastidip is really that picky

how much plasti dip did you buy to do your 4 rims?

How easy is it to remove? I've read you can simply peel it off. I'm thinking about spraying the chrome 22's on my wife's Expedition to see how they look in black.

To save you the money just take a picture of it and put it up in the photo shop section and have those guys switch the color of the wheels for ya! Unless you know how to do all that stuff..... :imo:
