Finally decided to pull the trigger and plasti dipped my rims. Think it turned out pretty good and I'm happy with the results. These pictures were taken about 1.5 hrs after the last coat. The longer it dried the better it looked but it was raining its ass off last night so I couldn't get any other pictures.

I'm planning on dipping my wheels, badges, bumper, side step and grille

thats crazy, i was just photo shopping my truck with everything plasti-dipped. Deleting all the chrome pretty much. I think it would look pretty nice.

Yes, mine is the Mineral Grey. Don't know that I'll do all that your planning on but I might end up doing the RAM on the grille and the tailgate. Don't think I'll do the badges but I might just take them off

The wheels look good. I've been thinking about doing mine as well. This makes me want to do it a lot more.

Thanks for the positive comments! I'm really excited to start playing around with the truck now and this was one of my first projects.
