Was apprehensive about this because I can bolt stuff on but when it comes to this kinda of dexterity I suck. Turned out nice except for a couple spots where the dip pulled up in the hemi badges

Looks great! I've really been considering doing this to mine ( also silver ) I just haven't pulled the trigger on doing it yet. How much of a pita was it to do ?

Did you just spray that whole area inside the masking tape? Then what? Looks great, how many coats? Glossifier?

I did vinyl overlays to keep a chrome lip on my badges. To better match my wheels.

I like it that way. Where did you get the overlays?

Wow, great idea. Definitely looks good.

I dipped my last car and did not like how it faded and did not want to keep up with it or add glossifier.

The chrome lip and sides make it pop.

Got them on EBay. Both doors "Ram 2500" and the tailgate "4x4" come in the pack

Juvenator, how was the install? Looks great, but I bet it was a pain. Holds up through the car wash?

Man, it was so easy. The only thing I would have done better is put on 6 coats total. The thicker you put it on (I found) the easier it pulls from around the letters.

Easiest "mod" ive ever done!

Yeah man. Just sprayed the whole thing down with about 4-5 coats. I would have put more down with hindsight.

Peeled up pretty easy. The sheet broke a couple times around the letters which is why I would have put more down.

That does look pretty badass. It looks good cause you probably took your time laying down the stickers huh?

Install was actually really easy. Other members have had them for years. Seem like they will hold up well

Could have been a little more patient for 100% perfection. But in about 30min I'd say it's a 95%. Just gotta have a steady hand

That's pretty bad ass and gives me an idea... However it would mean peeling the all black badges I put on a couple months ago off again and then re-doing the 3M tape on them also...

Anyone seen the Jeep badging on the new Grand Cherokee Trailhawk? Black with a red edge to them. Think that would look sick on the badging all the way around on my 2500.

Installed the vinyl overlays today. Turned out really good but covering the red is pretty hard to get lined up perfectly.
