I hate chrome. So I debadged my truck and plastidipped to grill.

Not bad not bad! looks like it came out nice, almost did mine but got the black honeycomb instead.

be fore warned it will be hell to get off! the po did the grille in my sport and i ended up having to scrub with paint thinner to get the crap out of all the little nooks

Looks good. I recently did mine too. I used the glossifier to give it a little shine to match the black emblem

i did mine and everywhere a bug would hit it would peel off from the bug juice

If you don't put enough coats on, it'll be tough to pull off like what happened to fastbike02 (not sure how many coats they put on). but if you put on 5 coats or so, you it should be easy, plus, the bug juice won't wear it out. I had my grill on my old vehicle plastidipped with 5-6 coats and it held up perfectly through the 2 years I had it on. Bugs and snow and all!

Then when you think you have enough....mas coats!

yes the more coats you put on the easier it is to get off i put 4 coats on mine and the bugs still messed it up after doing it 3 times i said screw it but the badge gets hit by bugs all the time and it has never messed it up so im a little confused there but oh well

Weird that if guts did that. I also put multiple coats and never had an issue with bug guts making it peel
