If you'll only ever haul your ATV than the airlift 1000 bags will be fine. If you want to tow an RV with a hitch weight over 600 lbs than you'll want the Airlift 5000 bags. If the 5000s had been available when I bought I'd have bought then instead. I have the 1000s and will definitely need to upgrade.
Here's with about 950 on the hitch yesterday. Airbags max psi. I have a 1" rake on the truck too.

i don't think I'll ever have that much weight on my hitch, I can see from the pic that you still need a lift even with 1000 series airbags

Well here is 540 lbs on the hitch. Unfortunately the airlift 1000 bags still can't level the truck. My truck sits level with my ATV and sled in the box though.
