Picked up a Recon Line of Fire LED bar. I want to hard wire it to the truck instead of using the 4 pin plug. I want to just tap off of the tow harness behind the bumper. I just need to know how to wire it up. If anyone can tell me which wires get wired to what that would be great. Thanks

id have to pull my harness apart to do that. I just had someone in the truck and played witht he lights till I got the right wires on the connector on the back of the combo plug.

This process took me over 4 hours with a buddy! It was rough as I had to run all the way to the front for the turn signals or the bar malfunctioned, third brake for the brake, normal reverse light hook up. I used the plasmaglow firestorm bar. It was a pain but man does it look good! O and JB weld that batch on!

you didnt have to run to the front. even if you don't have a trail harness you just tap off the correct wires in back where the tails are and your set. Wiring in a 4 pin harness should be easy.

It wasnt. Plasmaglow was more complicated. The turn signals had to wire to the front. I spliced in to the tails and trailer harness, neither worked.
