Mine does the same thing, very annoying! It goes out after I shut off the truck though, but it takes a little while to go out.

Odd. Thanks highway. Recon said to put load resistor on it. That shouldn't be needed. Says plug and play.

Just installed my Recon lights. I love the look of them and everything seems to be working correctly. I did have the LED reverse lights in backwards so neither of them worked but have it all straight now.

Well i guess i was wrong about my 3rd brake light. The cargo light does stay on dim while driving. Recon said to get a 6 ohm - 50 watt resistor which i got off of ebay for next to nothing. Wired one end up to the positive wire of the cargo light and the other end i grounded to the body inside the brake light cavity. It got up to 32 degrees here today so i finally got around to tackling this project. The positive wire for my cargo light was the white wire on the brake light which plugs into the white wire with a tan colored stripe from the truck. All is good now. Used some silicone and mounted the resistor out of the way in the top of the cavity. Hope this helps anyone who is having this problem.
