For those of you that hate tapping into wires, I made a harness that fits 2009-2012 reverse lights with a tap wire for led pods, tailgate strip, etc. 86c632dc7723eb2d00a991bf5343adfe.jpg

It looks like what you made just plugs into between the original harness plug and the bulb. Am I correct? The better question is how much?

That is correct. Those connectors were a pain to find. PM me.

So here is where my wiring ignorance shows up. I disconnect my reverse light harness, plus one end of your harness into that and the other end back into the main harness where I unplugged it. Then I use the yellow wire you have spliced in to power my led pods? I have two wires coming from my pods, red and black... See why I need a harness.. hahah

Pretty sure the idea of this harness is so you don't have to splice into your factory wiring. With this you would just hook up the two plugs and then use the yellow wire to power your LED bar or pods. To the OP, great idea, Looks good man [emoji106]

Okay, so I connect yellow to red and leave the black with no connection. Easy enough

Black is ground. You need to hook that up lol. Self tapping sheet metal screws will do the trick. Just crimp on a ring terminal and you'll be golden.

Perfect... Thanks. Does one harness run both lights as long as both reds are nutted to the yellow?

Single wire for a relay set up and dual wire for straight light set up.

I absolutely hate splicing into factory wires because when I have in the past its created a ton of problems. I just got one of these harnesses last week and it will work on my 2013 with non LED tail lights. I assume this harness would also work on all 2013+ Rams without LED tails but I don't know this for sure. Don't have install pics as I'm waiting to put my tailgate led bar on when the weather warms up.

Thanks for making this @Dantheman!
