Well my cover is still not on my truck, and I am officially PISSED at Bak Industries!
Here is the whole story...
2 Weeks ago I order the cover. It comes ~1 week later,this is about right with it coming from California and I am in NC. No problem here.
Well I open the box on Sunday 6-4-2017 and find the passenger side rail bent and I get a Red bag of "hardware" only it is missing all the hardware. No big deal I say. I will call on Monday (6-5-2017)
Monday I call and talk to Bak, give them the story (bent rails and I am missing the hardware to attach the cover to the rails, my kit only has the rubber pads) - they want pictires of bent rail.
I send the pictures and they reply we will send you out new rails.
I reply back and the hardware?
They reply - rails and hardware
Tuesday comes and I have a box on my porch!! - well it was a box with just rails!!!
Call BaK - got my rails but no hardware
Bak says we will send hardware right out
Thursday I get a box containing a Red bag of "hardware" with no ******* hardware!!
Now I am a bit pissed. I explained to them on Monday that I needed to cover to secure a load on Saturday.
Call them on Thusday I got no hardware
Bak says... ok We will send it out for a Saturday delivery
No package on Saturday!!
No now a $780 cover is sitting in my garage awaiting hardware for the 3rd time. What scares me the most is the cover is rolled up backwards and requires you to un-roll it and re-roll it forwards after the rails are on. BUT I CANNOT PUT ON MY RAILS!! so I am not sure if the cover is damaged yet.
Now I will say that customer service on the phone is good but the distribution warehouse sucks!
