Lookin for ideas for some for some vinyl stripes to make the tradesman loom less like a work truck.

Ran across this setup and I kind of like it

What do you guys think?
What is everybody else do I g for hood and side vinyl?
On my 06 Ram I bought bed side stripes with R/T cut in them for only $30 shipped. They looked amazing, quality was killer and they were 3M vinyl. I also ordered a hook "black out" Vinyl for just the middle of the hood, the raised area. Cost me $39.95 shipped and it was Oracle Vinyl. Quality and finish was excellent. Both were bought on ebay, cost me $70 total.

You do that yourself of have it done? What material did you use?

I had it done by a tint shop. They guaranteed it not to peel or fade for 5 years and it cost just under $300. On the outdoorsman the top of the bumper is the truck color but the bottom is chrome, it drove me nuts. This seems like a fairly priced alternative to replacing the bumpers and it can be removed at any time if necessary. They gave me two choices, 3M which he said was the most popular but wasn't as glossy or Avery which was more glossy, I chose the Avery.

Did the rear too.

Im liking the wrapped bumper look but how well does it hold up? I'm always loading bikes and such.

That IS the question I guess. Since it's guaranteed not to peel the problem would be deep scratches or tears. I've only had them for three weeks so I can't speak for the longevity. The installer said that surface scratches would repair themselves if left in direct sunlight or heated with a hair dryer but I'll believe that when I see it. $300 experiment

Hood Decal

I took my Rebel to a local detail shop, and had them make and install a custom decal with REBEL ghost graphics above each hood scoop. :happy107:
