side steps?

Hey guys
Just picked up a 14 ram crew outdoorsman. Want to get some side steps for it. Want to be black and oval so like a 5" Any opinions on who makes the best one that wont rust out and has a good powercoat? I live in michigan and no one recommends getting black bars because of the salt and how fast they will chip and rust.

I searched and searched. I have the factory black ones and loved them. They sit closer to the cab than most.

Mine aren't black but I have the mopar wheel to wheel ss step bars on my truck. I love them, easy to install and they don't stick out too far.

I have Lund 6in ovals I like them mine are polished good price also they were like $350. As far as how well they hold up with snow and what not I can't speak for here in Texas just stay away from. Protraxx if your worried mine had rusty water come out one day after rain.

I had White Knuckles on my Xterra before the Ram. Best rock sliders by far, great craftsmanship, and they stand behind there product.

I have the Mopar wheel to wheel steps on my Reg Cab R/T. Made it part of the deal to buy the truck. Parts guy said they were $580.

You could always buy some quality cheaper steps and have them bedlined and add some clear silicone on the end caps. Don't really know how much a shop would charge though

thanks for the help. Prob just pick up some cheaper ones with the idea to replace town the road. if they get too rusty.

I haven't seen it but the website says it has 1/2" plates that sandwich the frame.
