After lifting my truck the front spindles move my tires out and I didn't like the look of it.
So I was going to order 1 inch adapters with longer studs.
Well my guy advised against it and said I should buy a 1 inch spacer.
So I ordered a 1 inch spacer and try to install it and now I'm running into the issue of the stock studs hitting the wheel.
Anybody else have this problem and what did you do?

For spacers smaller than 1.5" you need to cut the stock studs down. The wheel needs to be sitting flat on the spacer and can't be hitting the stock studs at all.

You're gonna have to trim the studs down.

As said cut them down. I put 1.5 inch hubcentric ones on and had to take about 1/16 off each stud

Ok what's the best way to trim the studs? I have never attended that since I would think the treads would get messed up.

Thread the nuts on first before you cut them. Then back the nut off to clean the threads on the end. Die grinder or hack saw?

I used a grinder and a steady hand. I also put a dab of primer on the bare steel after it was cut
