So before I end up driving myself crazy with this decision.... let me explain...
Have on hold a 2016 Sport Hood. It is my paint code, but has a few scratches and needs to be repainted.... cost of the hood is $750 and repainting it would be another $250.... so we are talking 1K. Have until close of business tomorrow to decide if I want it or not.... thoughts/opinions ....

i have had 2 on 2 previous trucks and when i bought my 2017 it was the one thing i did not want. The paint quality around the fake scoops is usually **** right from factory

Buy it! You won't be disappointed.... I had an express with regular hood, found a sport hood on craigslist with hail damage$150... paintless dent repair from a friend, had $325 & a Seahawk jersey( wouldn't take more cash) in it! It gives you a better view from inside too!!!!! Its flatter than regular hood

I'd grab it for sure. I'm keeping my eyes open for one locally.

I don't know if I like mine. I bought for the black nostrils to better enhance my Silver Night Edition.

I find it's a little too proud and thickens the front end quit a bit. Makes the bed look ill proportioned.

I don't have anything to compare to in terms of visibility.

Go for it! It'll change the look of your ride. You'll regret not getting it!

I'd pass man. For that kinda of money you can get a functional one. Also something unique instead of the same old sport hood everyone gets

If you decide to get it, go to a good reputable shop. Mine was painted and it's a little lighter, and I don't think they removed anything to get the hood painted. Imo it looks better with the hood, than without it.

if your gonna spend money to repaint it, buy new scoop covers they have a tendancy to look like **** after 2 years as the sun bleaches them overtime.
