Has anyone had their truck spray lined from a dealer? A dealership near me is offering a 100$ off coupon right now. They charge $187.50 for parts $130.00 in labor and after the 100$ discount that puts me at $228.75 out the door. Linex wants $565.00 and I get a dealer discount from them putting me at $490.00 out the door...I would much rather pay the 230 but I don't want to spend money on something that will in no way shape or form help me with rust or protecting the bed in general. I know linex is a great product but I don't load my bed down with stuff all the time and really don't beat on it a whole lot im wondering if anyone has experience with the dealership spray and if it is a decent product?

In my experience dealer bed liners are junk and don't hold up. $565 for a LineX seems high, I can get mine sprayed (over the rail) for $420.

My neighbor had his bed sprayed at the dealer, when he bought the truck. Actually had 2 of them. Both held up well. Granted, he's not hauling loads of rocks or dirt in his truck, but it does it's job.

I had a GatorHyde spray in done on my truck for $350. I've been very pleased with it. I don't haul a bunch of stuff either. I just wanted that added protection to keep the bed protected when I do haul stuff.

If you're not going to really put the truck bed to use, I think you'll be fine with a dealer spray in, or another option that is cheaper than Linex. Linex is a good product, but I couldn't justify spending $600-$700 for a bedliner (those are the prices I was quoted).

My was done at the factory or I should say before it reached the dealership. So far so good, it's holding up really well.

Same here. And I've had the truck for 5 years next month. Although I don't really carry much back there.

Me too. Looks pretty good still, no complaints.

My dealer subs the bed liner out to a local shop. You might ask your dealer if they do the same thing and what kind of spray in liner that shop uses.

Most of the differences found with spray in liners isn't necessarily the product so much as the experience of the installer.

See what the warranty is on it? If it's guaranteed as long as you own the truck, go for it!!

I think it's the opposite, anyone with basic finish knowledge can spray a bedliner , I think Line-X has a superior product.

I've had a Rhino liner sprayed truck, and also a few others of unknown origin (used truck) they all adhered ok and did their job, but they all faded to a chaulky dull charcoal color after a few year and looked like crap.

The line-X liners look great 5-6 years later, at least in my experience.
