My passenger's side door is pretty squeaky all of a sudden. What type of lube works well and lasts?

Mine had a little squeak at one point and what I did was washed all the inside jams so they were clean, sprayed WD-40 in all the hinges and rollers, took a rag and wiped all the excess back off and then rubbed a real thin layer of multi purpose waterproof bel ray grease that I use on my dirt bike. That was a few months back and still no squeak yet

I had the same issue with a previous vehicle. I tried the WD40 route initially it lasted a couple of months. From then on I started using white lithium grease, that lasted a few years until I sold it and bought my RAM

I use white lithium, but its a PITA to get it into the roller bearing where the nosie comes from.

I've used Fluid Film with great success on just about everything. $15 a can, but man it works well.

My doors open and close like butter.

I've always used chain lube from my race quads, works great and it dries so no dirt can stick to it. My last truck lasted years before it squeeked again.

Mine was doing that. Sounds strange but I put windex on it. No more noise

That's interesting, How long does that last thought? I know it has soap to act as a little lube but you would think after one rain storm it'd be gone, no?

I sprayed white lithium grease in the roller wheels, and rubbed mobil 1 synthetic (red) bearing grease on the rod. I did this to all 4 doors, and they are perfect now. My drives door had a little bit of noise, which is gone now.
