Looking for some suggestions on side steps/running boards. I have a 2017 Laramie Crew Cab. Am interested in hearing from those who have them and recommendations on brand and/or style. Thanks.

I've used NFab step bars on my last 3 Ram trucks and have been very happy with them.

Great, thx Maddog. I have the chrome package and wonder if the chrome NFab would look good. Google is my friend I suppose.

That's the look I was going for. I'll have to see if they make them in a chrome finish. Thanks for the info.

I looked at these today. They are really cool, but kinda pricey.

I really enjoy my AMP steps, so I would recommend them for sure. But, the factory steps weren't bad at all if you are looking to save a buck. Maybe you can pick.up some factory take off's if that is the direction you are heading.

Was looking at those, but am concerned with operation in our nasty winters and summer desert use.

Yea... I can see that for sure. Heavy winter use would definitely shorten the lifespan of the electronics. Luckily Texas doesn't have to deal with that stuff much.

look at the video link I attached in previous post, that's not Texas lol

One reason I bought mine is because I knew they would hold up to abuse. A friend of mine has them on his Chevy HD2500 with 12" lift and 38's. He works construction plus goes offroading in deep mud, sand at beach, high water etc. and his never failed once. Mine will never see that so I new I was good. They are expensive, but as a functional upgrade that you and your family will use everyday, to me its worth it.

They have a $100 rebate right now too

Really? I feel they are well priced. what price did you see them going for? If you are interested in them let me know and I can quote you with your Ram Forum discount.

Yeah, sorry. I replied this to your quote by accident and then couldn't delete, lol. I like the ones you posted a lot.

I've got the AMP steps and love them! Totally worth the money. Much wider than other steps out there, grippy, they go lower, and look amazing. I wish Ram would pull a truck from Ford's book and make them an OEM option.

Thanks for all of the replies so far. I see the Amps are a popular choice....just so pricey [emoji15].

In case anyone was interest, I ended up putting on these 6" Ionic 51 series running boards today. Took me a couple of hours, but I'm happy with the look and functionality.
