I have a 2014 1500 with a 6" lift. Can I run a 2005 or 2006 stock wheel on my truck for winter so I don't trash my set on the truck now. Ton of salt on the roads up here. Plus you can buy a set of those old stockers dirt cheap.

You will probably run into clearance issues with the steering knuckle because the factory wheels have such a positive offset.

(I'm assuming the lift you have has aftermarket knuckles)

You'll need to run at least an inch and a half wheel spacers in order to get it to clear.

I have a 2013 1500 with a 6" lift and 1 1/2 inch wheel spacers. I've had zero problems with them.

I bought a set of 2004 stock chrome rims for $200, in pretty good shape. Running 37-12.5-20 Baja ATZ's on them. had to go with 1 1/2" spacers so they'd clear in the front. Looks pretty sweet for a winter set up, those 04 rims on a 2014 truck. thanks for the advice.

Resized_20171216_162932_2887.jpeg Here's a pic of my truck with the 04 stockers I bought. Pretty happy with the look for a winter set up.Resized_20171216_162932_2887.jpeg
