Hi, Ive been reading a ton...think ive got it dialed in and I know a lot of the tire size questions are subjective or per application, here's mine that I haven't seen and looking for opinions.

2015 Ram 4X4 crew cab 5.7 hemi, I'm assuming 20x9 chrome clad wheels.

What would the perfect size tire be, to be put on initially with Bils in the front, and then lift in the future. looking for the same tire to get me there but maybe some time in between. not sure of the future lift but liking the 6" look.

thank you for all your help!

if you set the bilsteins to 2.8 you can run 35's on stock 20x9's with 1/4" spacers, or even 295/65/20 which is a tad bigger that 35, but in some cases a 1/4" spacer is still required

Stock rims were rubbing so I changed my rims with a new 1.5 inch off set

If you were staying with leveled, I would suggest 33's only because I like the look of a little gap in the wheel wells. But if you plan on adding a lift before the tires wear out, I'd go ahead with 35's.

i just put 295/60/20 on my truck with 2.1 level from bilsteins and I think that size is perfect. Not stuffed but not undersized looking.

I just put 305/55/20 on mine about the same height as stock but a 12.5 wide when inflated. Slight slight rub but looks good

From what I understand a 295/60R20 is a 33.9" diameter? Is a wheel this size more expensive because the rarity? Aren't sticking to actual 33 or 35's more price friendly? Thanks.

There is truth to this. The same tire I got (Toyo mt) was cheaper in 35x12.5x20 and 33x12.5x20. I think they listed at 34.2 and then the nitro trail grapplers in 295/60/20 list at 34.5

I have a 2016 2500 Mega Cab with 2" front leveling kit only. Everything else is stock. Just put on KMC XD Machete wheels 20x9 with +18 Offset (5.71 BS), and Toyo Open Country AT 2 Extreme, 295/65/20 (35.1"x11.8") and they fit perfectly. Absolutely no rubbing issues. The tread sits right at the edge of the factory flares, and the sidewalls stick out from the flares for a slightly wider stance.

I can't tell from the pics, but do you have a leveling kit installed? If so, what did you set it at?

Bilstein 5100's set at 2.1". Never measured before or after so I couldn't tell you the actual difference. But I still love the stance it gave me lol.
