Right now I am sitting on stock 275/60R20 (33") tires. I installed the 2.5" Rough Country level kit. After reading a thread or two a day about tire sizes and what will fit, it really seems like it varies based on the specific truck and trim. I am looking to go with a bigger tire, with minor trimming, and I'd like them to stick out a little bit. From what I understand, I cant go much wider on stock wheels, so I am torn between either doing a full wheel/tire setup, or keeping my wheels and getting tires and spacers.

What do you guys think? Could anyone provide pictures of their 2.5" level kit set-ups to give me a better idea? Or if anyone knows a specific thread that could help me please do share. Been searching for accurate info for days lol.

i went aftermarket wheels, but i have bilsteins set at 2.1 and 295/60/20 tires (roughly 34" tall)

There are so many options on wheel sizes, and tire sizes and, offsets. What look are you going for?

That looks good mwright.

I'm looking to go with as big of a tire as possible with minimal rubbing/trimming, and also looking to stick out a bit past the fender. I don't have fender flares. I have a lot of room in the front I think (hope) I'll be able to run 35"s with MINOR trimming. Would like it to be as cost effective as possible, which is why I'm debating between tires/wheels OR tires/spacers. I don't mind my stock wheel, so I could go either way in regards to looks.

you can run a 35x12.5x20 on your stock wheels with no rubbing or spacers if they are the 20x8 wheels. If they are the 20x9 wheels you could possibly need 1/4" spacers to keep them from rubbing the UCA.

A 12.5" wide tire will fit on a 8" wheel? I actually do not know if it is a 8" or 9" wheel I will need to find out some how? :hmm:

Hopefully these pictures will show the room I have with the stock tire and the level kit and give you guys a better idea:
