Swapping mirrors?

Question, I have a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 ST. I wanna get my mirrors painted to match my truck but wanted to swap them out with mirrors that have the puddle lights in them. I was wondering if I am able to do that with my truck? I don't know if there is a wire in the harness already for the lights or if I am able to get a harness to make them work? Has anyone done this before or know anybody that has done it.

yes, I added sport/2500 mirrors to my black edition. Once on, you will need to take them to the dealership so they can flash the ECU after adding the sales codes for the puddle/lamps to work

I'm not sure if on the older st's (pre 2013) that it's just plug and play and flash for that. You might have to wire it yourself

I just put a set of puddle lights/tow mirrors on a 2012 and I can tell you none of the features worked. The mirror adjustments work, but the puddle/turn signal part does not. I'm going to have the owner run it to the dealership next week and see if it can be flashed.

Do you have better pics of your mirrors painted? I wanna get it done but wanted to see how others looked first before I pulled the trigger. Wanna change up the looks more an figured that would be a good start.
