Thinking about getting his hood. It's fiber glass I'm going to have it painted black metallic. I have a dark grey ram 1500. The contrast should look nice. I just want to know if there's any issue with fiber glass hoods??

I have ran fiberglass hoods on my mustangs and they have been fine. Don't see why the truck hood would be much different

You get what you pay for. When it comes to aftermarket fiberglass hoods. Check the reviews. You might think your saving money getting the cheap one. But you end up spending way more in the long run making it fit correctly and look decent.

This is a very good point and something to consider

I had my share of fox body mustangs. I bought a cheap hood before. Ended up buying a good one. Never lined up right. Crappy edges. Stress cracks. Mess

I've been looking at them for my 2500. What I have seen is buy cheap get cheap. Adjusting will be made with either but it won't be 100%with a cheaper one.

Ive had full fiberglass and polyurethane body kits on previous vehicles in the past. I wish I could say that they all fit perfectly but that wasn't the case. It really comes down to getting what you pay for even then, it can still be hit or miss.

I just want to know if there's any issue with fiber glass hoods??
