Was looking at my tips on my new 16..Mine are clamped on that mushroom and have a tac weld on them..Wonder how hard it is to break that tac..

they are all tacked on, the tack is easy to get with a grinder but the tips will come off with the clamp attached if I remember right. it should only be tacked on one side so you can still remove them from the truck. that's how mine were.

I used a can of high temp gloss on my honeycomb grill inserts,guess if im doin my ex tip i had better get another can..My rams head gloss blk emblems will be in next week,my 1st order of them showed as delivered by canada post and usps.com but never got to me,ebay gave me a refund so i ordered a 2nd set..My hemi 5.7 flat black emblems will be in around the same time so ill need some clear coat to make them gloss..
Cant wait,more gloss on da hemi!!
