I have run Toyo m/t and a/t as well as other m/t tires and want to get away from some of the road noise. I'm thinking about purchasing Toyo open country R/T, does anybody have experience with them? I drive about 80% road and 20% off-road.

I just put a set of BFG KO2's on my rig. The reviews and personal experience on my dad's truck sold me.

They're extremely quiet on the pavement, aggressive enough for off-road, run rain and snow well and clear really well. They're a high mileage tire as well.

Check them out.

A buddy of mine has the Toyo R/T and he loves them.

I second this. I've got them on my rear drive/3.92 QC and even without 4x4 I can get pretty aggressive off road. And road noise is almost nonexistent.

I've had them since they were released. We just had snow and ice cover Portland and I got around no problems. Really quiet and look great too. But they do throw rocks.

I had a couple of sets of Nitto Terra Grapplers. Both sets ran up to 85K miles with no issues. They were pretty quiet as well.

The Toyo RTs are nice. I have 2 friends that have them and love them.

I would have got them, but I got the MTs, the RTs where not available in 35" when I went to get my new tires.

You can't compare a BFG and a Toyo IMHO.

Toyos are great! I run the Exo grappler...really nice tire and snow flake rated 10 ply as well. Run them all year long beefy but not too loud and still can hit 100mph without a problem. Highly recommend Toyo
