Here's where I am to be a pain lol. I currently have 20x9 wheels with oem fitment of 275/60 on them. I'm on Bilstein at 2.1. I want to go with a 295/60 tire to give a slighter fuller look. I don't want off road/ mud tires as I don't do any of that. My current tires are Michelin LTX which SUK in the snow even with 4x4. Does anyone have 295 or even a narrow 35" tire on this set up that they are willing to post photos and thoughts on please ?dfcfd34d8e167ce104faef2d63d31a1c.jpg

I can't guarantee it but you should be good with that size. There is a slight chance that you would need a 1/4" spacer

Now see I don't want any spacers so I may just grab a set of LT 275/60 with an A/T pattern if need be.

i am still lost when it comes to this, between the sizing and offset I am just going to not change anything. There has to be a chart somewhere that shows you what will work/fit without changing suspension geometry and requiring recalibration of your speedo.

I have stock 20" on my big horn by window sticker says they are 20x8 the tire size converts to 10.8" wide (275/65R20) I am not sure what is right. I cant find the stock offset either.

I just want to put some 24" SRT replicas on it, they are 10" wide and +25.4 offset on them, I am not sure if they will stick out further or what size tire i need to not screw with my speedo. I guess this is why dumb people (me) pay smart people to do this stuff for them.

The stock offset for the 20x8 wheels is +19.1. I'm looking at getting some 22" hellcat replica wheels with a +25 offset and 285/45 wheels, the wheel calculator says they'll poke almost 1.5" further toward the inside. I got down and measured and there's only roughly an inch between my tire and the upper control arm right now, the seller guarantees these will fit my truck with no spacers or modifications but I just can't see how.

I have a 2" level on a 2014 2500 and just put on 295/65r20 (35.1x11.6r20) and it rubs a little at full lock.

With the offset on those SRT replicas being 25.4 (1/4” inward than stock 19 offset) wouldn’t that require more than the 1/4” spacers to fit 35” tires? Wouldn’t adding 1/4” spacers would put those back to stock distance away from the suspension components?

100% positive. I was looking to purchase the factory reproductions line of those exact wheels black machine face color. Every aftermarket replica of those have an offset of 25.4.

That is my dilemma right now. After seeing the offset I am unsure if I am going to purchase the replicas anymore as I want 35’s.

I have a son who will soon be 16, and I want to buy him a dodge ram 2011. I have a 2004 dodge, but for kids all the best is how do you think I'll make the right decision about buying such a car to him? than 2004 or not. What types of insurance policies exist for minors and how does it work? Thank you.

Hi my car in 2012, and before this was 2003 and I can say that the new machine is much better and less likely to break. Very cool of course gift to his son, probably he is a fine fellow), I can advise you only what is better to take with 2 doors, since it will be easier, but I think you will make the right choice. With regard to insurance, I have been working as an insurance broker for many years and I can advise you to read this site. Http: //www.cheapautoinsurance.com/ How much I would not look for different sites, on this you will find the most current insurance and information about them.
Good luck!

Rims and tire issue

I have a 2016 ram 1500. Stock size is 20x9 with a 275/60/20 tire. I am putting in a 20x9 rim and same size tire but the offset is -12. Will these rub if I don't have. A level kit installed. Everyone keeps saying you have to put them in to see
What about stock 17” will 285/70/17 rub on a 1500

Ok, what I want to do is put as wide a tire as poss. under the rear fender of my 13 single axle with out tubing it. So how do I fig. that? I have a lot of power, so I need a lot of meat to grip the road. I want to stay inline with the front tires, and drop about 4". Can this be done?

awesome post. I tried to figure out forever what size to buy after I put my 2.5" leveling kit on and finally just guessed. I went with a 275/70/R20 which is a little over a 35" tire I think. I could have gone bigger though.

Is anyone running 275/55R20's vs the stock 275/60R20? I'm looking at getting rid of the stock goodyears, and there are a lot more options in the 32" tire vs the 33". I have a trinity 2, so i can reprogram for tire size. It looks like the 55's are used on the new ram.
