Another tire size question... I know I know....:beatdeadhorse5::beatdeadhorse5:


I just got a new ram 2500 4x4 with 285/60R20. My dad has a 2013 Ram 1500 Express Sport 2WD with 20's. He is in need of new tires. I want to give him the tires from my new truck (since i'm getting a leveling kit w/ 35's).

Will the 285/60r20 fit on his truck?

anyone?? i can only find the answer to the 4x4 or with leveling kit. Can't find anything on what the largest is for a 2wd w/o leveling kit.

thats the size i ordered for my ram 1500 4x4.. im not putting them on though until i level.. all of my research says rear will be fine but from with rub on bumps

what was your answer that you found for 4x4? If a 4x4 with no level rubs a 2wd will rub too

Stock size is 275/60R20 so I wouldn't think going to a 285/60R20 would be a problem....

on a 4x4, i read that you can fit 33x12.50 but will rub with stock wheels.

but don't the 4x4's side higher than the 2wd? this tire is 33 but 11.2 wide. I read that it's the width that will rub.

It will defiantly be taller than 33 more like 33.5, but width wise it should be good. I think it will be fine with no level
