Tire white lettering: in (not showing) or out ( showing for all to see)

Just curious to what you guys think. My 2012 ram doesn't have the white lettering sticking out, but I seen some truck with it, and it looks good.
Obviously with white lettering out , your gonna have issues with it being dirty, but it looks great. With the white lettering in, easier maintenance when your cleaning it.

My truck came new with the white letters out. I just replaced them with Michelins with no white letters. IMO with OEM wheels, white letters out looks best.

I think the 'tough off road look' is white's out.
The 'street truck' look is black walls out.

I agree with whatever you like as it's your truck.

For me, the Sports and R/T's look best with the lettering out. It's just the stance and painted matched bumpers that give it the street look. The exhaust cut outs in the back add to the theme.

If it's lifted and jacked for business off road, the black wall suits the best IMHO.

The rims play a large part in it for me. Chrome clads and the polished rims can pull it off.
