Don't quote me on exact numbers but the stock mirrors stick out about 14.3 inches, tow mirrors down 16.3 inches and tow mirrors up 19 or so inches.

I was just wondering as I see some tow mirrors are longer than others and they look obnoxious. Not wanting something that is too much.

2nd two pics fully deployed...lol

The mirrors up don't really bother me like it does some guys....long ago I had an F250 with the oem mirrors and they were the tall/tow type so I guess I just don't see why dudes bash on the ram tow mirrors.

Pic of said F250 for the Ford fans....

Nice! Yeah, they don't bother me either. I figure saying something prevents the comments that usually follow. Ha

Thanks, I was just looking for this info!!!!

Anyone got a picture of tow mirrors on a regular cab??? Another quick question, are the wire connectors right inside behind the black piece or do you have to pull the door panel to plug in???

Good deal....Someone else may have reg cab pics, or try Google image search.

As far as connectors....They are behind the panel so the door panel must come off. It's stupid simple to remove. The hardest part of swapping my mirrors was getting the interior panels back on. There are two 'hooks' towards the front that didn't want to catch...very easy though. Swap took about 25 minutes per side and that included trimming a couple studs on the new aftermarket mirrors.

Tow Mirrors

I purchased a set of EECCP tow mirrors off amazon for 200 dollars, i was very nervous the wouldn't have the ambient temp sensor but they did, they fit perfect and install took 15 mins each. Only thing I had to do the inside mounting bolt stuck out a little to much so I trimmed it. Great mirrors,

I actually wired my mirrors up as clearence lights instead of having the truck flashed for blinker signals, personal preference. Looks really cool at night they come on with my head lights.

Any tips on wiring for running lights? I have the same set and plan to do this eventually. They are a nice aftermarket mirror.

I ran one single power wires from a relay pulled in from the PCM clearence light fuse (fuse box) grounded it on the studs where the mirror mounts,

Biggest issue I had, and once I figured it out it was very easy, running the wire through the door jam there is a plug you have to run the wire you use through not around.

Wire loom all wires, heat shrink connectors and fused the power wire.

I got a lot of my information from this forum and pieced it all together my own way

This part is no joke.

By far the hardest part when running power to the mirrors.

Sure, Here's a link to all of the different tow mirrors that we carry for your truck. We have them that add power fold too!

If you have any questions, I can answer them for you. Thanks for checking us out.

2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck Mirror

Do you have any for a 2015 Ram 1500 express that would work. I like the puddle lights and the directional. My truck only came with heating feature manual fold away. How hard would a swap be

What are ALL of the options that your mirrors came with from the factory such as power, heat, memory, puddle lights, turn signals ETC

Thanks for asking,
Tony

Heated and power.
I do not have power fold away. Or puddle lights or turn signal. All I can do is turn the heat on and adjust the mirror from inside.

These tow mirrors would be a direct replacement for you, but I'm out of stock until around Feb 29th. You could have the dealer run your VIN number to see if the truck's wired from puddle lights and turn signals too. If it is we have other options. Hope this helps you out. Tony
