So I bought new wheels and tires that came m&b already. My old wheels and tires have the tpms sensors in them still, my question is the new tires require 80 psi and the computer is set to 40 psi. Is this going to be a problem? I drove 25 miles with new tires and the tpms light hasnt even gone off yet! I dont want to waste time and money to pull all the tires off to install these sensors if its gonna freak because the psi is 2x what it think its should be.

Also for speedometer calibaration I read on here the dealer cant do it unless its a factory size. Well my new tires are 285/75/17, assuming thats not a size. So I guess my only option is to spend $200 bucks on a hypertech? I have a 2015 with locked computer [emoji30]

The TPMS light will not come on if the tire pressures are over, just ended. But it is likely that the MAX pressure on those tires is 80. Do not run them at 80. Stick with 40 or so.
