I am looking to add an undercover swing case on my 2014 ram and am reluctant because of the loop located near the rear of the bed. Does it interfere with the placement of the case? Thanks in advance.

No, on the 4th Gen trucks, the hooks stay in place. (On the 3rd Gen trucks, the hooks have to come out...)

I just installed a pair of the cases in my truck - It's hard to see with my bed rug in place, but the bracket mounts right above the hooks.

Sorry to revive an old thread. Was just wondering, does the addition of the Swing Case render the loop useless? I'm thinking about using the Swing Case in a truck that I'll be strapping street motorcycles in the bed and would need to have access to the loop in the back, as well as the loop in the front. Thanks.

It blocks it completely. I don't use them so it doesn't matter to me.

Assuming you don't leave the bikes in your bed long term you could always take the box out when you need the loop.

True. I'm thinking there must be way to add tie down points in other places in the bed.

the box removes very easy. When I need full bed width I just take it out. I either leave it strapped in or on the back seat when its not on the hinges.

Reviving an old thread. Can you still install the driver's side swing box if you have the 7-pin 5th wheel connection on the side wall? If so, could I just remove the toolbox if I need to use the power outlet? thanks.
