So I thought I'd share my latest upgrade. Upgraded my quads to Spyder smoked headlights and for my headlight bulbs I went with Fluxbeam X"s from Opt 7. I also went with red led side markers also from Opt 7 and for the fogs I went with Cree V2 white led"s , also ordered from Opt 7. I haven't had a chance to drive around with them, but the light output is definitely better than stock and I especially like the red side markers. Installation was simple, plug and play. No codes thrown and everything was included for the install. The only modification needed was to the dust cap which did not go back on because the bulb is longer than the stock bulb because of the fan attached to the rear. So I cut out the dust cap so I could fit it around the fan. So far , very happy with the upgrade and I'll update over the weekend when I actuallly drive around town. Thanks for reading.

I will try, but it may not be until the weekend. We have five cars here so I park mine at the top of my driveway since I use my work van during the week, so my truck is blocked from use during the week. My driveway is also on an incline so I may not get good shots. I'll try later when it gets dark , otherwise it will be over the weekend.

Headlights look bad ass. I want to do mod where high beam, fogs and lo beam stay on when I turn on brights.

How was the install of the spider lights? Any splicing or plug and play?

Spyder lights were plug and play. Had my mechanic connect the ccfl halos as some splicing was required asI'm the worst when it comes to wiring.

Nice headlights man! I really like mine.
Let me know how those opt 7 bulbs are. I'm running stocks.

My lens is clear. My light backing is black. That may be the difference

So I did some night driving with my new lights. I'm very impressed. Light output is much better than stock and miles better than the stock bulb included with my spyder headlight. Keep in mind these are smoked headlights. I could barely see anything with the stock bulb. I may have to adjust the beam. I think it's too low. Gonna play around with it over the weekend. I can't seem to figure out how to add captions on the photos, so the top photo shows light output with headlights and fogs, middle photo: headlights only, bottom photo: fog lights only.

Those output photos are terrifying to me. Do you really feel comfortable driving with that setup? I just don't think there's enough output there for me to feel safe on the road. It's been a while since I had my stock lights, but I don't remember them being worse than that.

x2, it may just be the pictures you took but man those do not look safe to drive with, just going by the pictures posted, you should look into an HID kit

Mine seemed very well made. I'll used clear silicone and went around the seals myself just to be safe. But I really don't think I needed to. They fit well and I've had zero issues

I had spyders with the halogen bulbs for a few months, I hated every minute of owning them

the spyders are well made but are more for flash and not performance
