Hey guys, I wasn't sure where to put this question so I figured I put it in general. I'm an owner of the 2017 ram with V6. I was wondering if anyone with the V6 has done a 20 inch with bigger tire set up. I just want to ask if you have seen any negative affects. Like mpg or acceleration. I'm pretty sure there is some , but is it terrible ? Thanks

If you get a mud tire it will affect mpg's no matter what engine you have. If you get heavy wheels and tires it will affect acceleration and braking and mpg's and again on any engine, but more so on the v6. I doubt it will be horrible

Depending on the gears it wont be too bad. Like Queitpeen mentioned it will affect MPG no matter what. Heavy tires plus aggressive tread does not play well with miles per gallon.

I have the V6 with 295/60R20 G2's on my truck and don't really notice any MPG or difference in acceleration. I do have the 3:55 gearing in my truck so I'm sure that helps.
