I am thinking about tinting the rear LED light covers on the rear of my black Ram. Anyone use the VHT Night Shades tinting spray paint? Like, dislike? Any other suggestions for tinting them, short of purchasing new aftermarket lights
?

Thanks in advance,

VHT Night Shades has been around for a long time. I remember using it on my 1999 Taurus SHO back in about 2000.

If you do it remember to tape everything off very well (or take the lights out of the truck) so that you don't get any overspray.

Don't over do it...you'll get streaks or dripping. Too much also makes it too dark.

Good luck!

if done right it can look good, use clear coat, and then sand and polish the clear once cured for a good look, otherwise it will have a cheap Matte look

I am going to remove them from the truck. This will be the first time I have attempted something like this. Better safe than sorry :word:

Thanks
