Hey guys,
Couldn't really find anything in a search so wanted to make a quick post. I am in the market for a CAI. However I really want to put the VIS SRT Hood on my truck next spring along with a spoiler and rollpan. That being said I am curious if anyone has this hood that would mind chatting with me for a bit in regards to it...
Obviously its a function hood, however the opening on the underside is right below the vent not like the MOPAR hood. So I would need to go with a Vararam I would imagine as all other CAI's locate to the RH side of the Engine Bay. So if anyone has this hood, do you have a CAI? Secondly how does the Vararam seal to the bottom of the hood, as I'm sure its not the shape of the OEM hood on bottom.
If you do have a CAI like the S&B what did you close the hood opening off with? I really would like to take advantage of the direct entry ram air I'm just concerned of the fit for the Vararam since it was designed with the OEM in mind.
