Hey all,

Ride: 2014 1500 Sport

Looking to purchase new tires and rims, more so interested in what tires ya'll recommend.

Want them to look aggressive and be all season, Will primarily drive on hwy - so the quieter the better. Rims will stay stock size (20") and ride height is stock for now but (looking to install bilstein 2.1 in near future)

See a ton of people running on BFGOODRICH A/T KO2?

Need advice on tire size, if I go stock size would they look small once bilstein gets installed? I also don't want to go overly large and compromise look or ride quality.

thank you in advance :)

My vote is for Toyo open country AT2, but I'm a little biased. I've had them on since November and like them a lot. Ride quality is the about the same and they are a bit louder but not much. I put on 305/55/20 at stock height with no rub. Happy hunting!

Check out the cooper zeon ltz as well. It's more of a sporty all terrain with great street manners.

I did a 2" leveling kit and put 275/70/20 KO2's on my truck and love them. Great grip in snow and rain and quiet at all speeds.

Love my factory size Terra Grappler G2s. Great price, not too heavy, look good, and grip even better.

I'd say cooper also, IMO toyo and nitto are crap. I'd go cooper or if your on a budget , I absolutely loved the Atturo trail blade xt's. Regardless of what people have said , I ran them and they were the best tire I had run. However, I would have loved the zeon if it came in the size I was after.

The BF Goodrich K2 look nice but they where to aggressive looking for me so I went with the nitro Terra grapplers. Did leveling spacer and fit 305/65/18.83f4fbbadbe22892f1cbd48a82d221e0.jpg

Nitto Terra Grapplers..... I had two different sets of these last me 85K. They rock.

I don't mean to sound like a ****, but terra grapplers are the worst tire I have run. They might last , due to their almost plastic compound, but their traction is garbage in wet, dry, and snow. My .02

Following..... I'm also looking at tires and a leveling kit. On a tight budget, but I'm wanting it to look good and perform better. I'm wanting an aggressive all terrain that last 40,000 or more. I've been reading a lot of bad things (balancing problems mainly) about the trail blades, mud hogs, gladiator and the lexani mud beast tires.
Also, I can't decide if I want to go with spacers for now for the price or wait and save for blistens. Regardless I need tires now (bigger than stock)

Love all the feedback, lots of different opinions but hey everybody will have one.

Still need to make a decision how big of a tire to go with for aggressive look that will be paired up with a levelling kit this summer.

where are you situated do you get very cold, lots of snow and ice ,I went with cooper discovery atw 275/60/20 don't know if they are available in the states but they are in Canada. they are an all weather tire with a special compound to give you traction when it gets cold love them. oh and you keep them on all year and they have a 55000 mile tread wear warranty heres a pic also not too noisy.

Yes. I do have a different rim with a different offset so that the tire size fit. I've had Nittos and Toyo and you can't go wrong. Look on the reviews as they always have high marks.

Trail blade xt's where fantastic, if I listened to all the hater reviews I never would have tried them. You'll find that a LOT of people throw out ideas that are all based on opinion not experience. That being said I tried the atturo's any way. They balance perfect traction was excellent wet and dry. To each there own , but this is based on my personal experience. Not opinions. I've run bf's which are great but pricey, nittos and toyo's both garbage , fuel mud gripper also crap, and coopers which were also excellent. Do with that as you will but these are all experience reviews, not "I heard this "
