Wanting to keep my 20x8" Blacked Out Express Rims

What aggressive tires safely fit on the 20x8" black express rims with a Supreme Suspension 3" lift? (2016 Ram 1500 Blacked Out Express 4x4) I am looking at BF Goodrich All Terrain KO2 285 65/R20 or Nitto Trail Grappler 295 65/R20. I just want to be sure these are good for the 8" rim width. My stock GoodYear Wranglers SRA 275 60/R20's have about an inch clearance from the upper control arm. Also will try 1/4" spacers if need be. TireSize.com has a good tire calculator which is really great for this comparison. Anyone have bigger tires on their 20x8"s that can show pics. Thanks for your time in advance.

Pretty sure your stock wheels are 20x9 ... I also have a 2016 Black Out Express and that's what I have. I don't have a lift, my front is leveled at 2.1" I'm running Nitto Terra Grapplers G2 285/65R20 on them.

Thanks Bud, tires look great. Definately an upgrade to the stock Goodyears. You have the same 8" rims I do & they limit tire selection. At least your tires fall between the 8" through 10" rim width but a lot of people are using tires meant for 9"x11" rim width without even knowing they're 8"s. Probably very unsafe

The 20" wheel came in two widths, 8" and 9", with the same offset and tire size.

An LT295/65r20 will fit an 8" rim so you should be good in any event. An LT305/55rx20 is just a bit too big for the 8" wheel.

Have you pulled a build sheet for your truck yet? It will tell you exactly what size wheels came on the truck.

MaizeNBlue, your rims are 8". The good news is, is that the tires you had mounted recommended rim width are 8" to 10". So they're a safe application. 35"x12.5" tires are not safe for Express rims (Manufacturer recommended rim width is 8.5" to 11").

The quickest way is to read the sticker on the driver side door, it gives you all that info and more.
