So out of the blue at 330 this morning I received a shipping notification from CarId. No tracking information. They said I should receive that within 12 hours. Not holding my breath but it sure would be nice if it actually has shipped.

Going through the same **** with a BodyGuard bumper

Maybe they make this type of stuff to order rather than stocking it ?

That's what I'm thinking. I'm excited to get it and install it. Best of luck with your bodyguard. Those are some sweet looking bumpers as well. Which model did you go with?

Well the bumpers showed up. Got them installed over the weekend. Still waiting on the bullbar/light bar portion from autoanything. Not the greatest pictures but its something to post. Haven't installed the fairlead yet as I'm having it powdercoated to match the bumper. Still have to wire in the reverse lights. Have the front 10" bars wired into my fog light switch.

Nice job, they look great

Maybe look at some rollers to protect the bumper

Finally got the rest of the bumper assembly. Needless to say I really like the finished look.

Looks really nice, especially with those headlights. Have you had any issues with bumper hitting the headlights or fenders? I have the same bumper set up, and when I hit a bump, the vibration makes the bumper rattle against the fender. I now have to run a 1/2 inch space between the bumper and headlight and fender and doesn’t look great. Really frustrated with the Westin bumper, it’s so flimsy and the 2 corners.

How is the bumper holding up? Have you driven with it off-road?

I’m considering the Westin HDX or the Fab Fours Vengeance. Westin is cheaper, but I’ve heard it’s lighter weight, and specifically that the brackets aren’t as beefy. However, I have no idea if this matters in practice. I’d prefer to get the Westin and save the money, assuming comparable protection.
