What bumpers are these???

I came across 2 really awesome looking Rams while browsing Google images and I was curious what year/model Rams the front bumpers on them are from?

I know they are both 2013+ bumpers because the first one has the 13+ oem projectors and the second one has the 13+ vertical fog lights. I'm just not sure what exact year and model they are from.

Can anyone tell me what year and model each of those bumpers are from?

I love the look of the all black truck. The bumper looks really mean.

The red/black 2 tone Ram looks really cool and seeing as my truck is Red aswell, I'd actually consider doing that red/black 2tone if that bumper could be fitted to my 12' truck.

I just now realized that the red and black Ram has the 09-12 grille but the bumper has the 13+ vertical fog lights so I'm starting to think that the owner of that truck swapped a 13+ bumper onto an 09-12 Ram. If that's the case, that's awesome because I'd love to swap that bumper onto my Ram and do the same color scheme.

Bumper 1 is a 2500

On your truck you have a 1 piece sport bumper. Bumper 2 is 2 piece.

So your telling me the 2nd bumper is just a regular 09-12 ram 1500 2 piece bumper? The kind that's usually chrome, but this one is painted black?

Sweet thanks. Time to start looking for a 2 piece bumper and once I find one, find a vinyl place to wrap the bumper and my sides and rear. I'm really loving how that red and black 2 tone looks with that bumper. Throw a sport hood and 13+ projectors on there and it would look amazing.

Damn, your going to have enough take off parts soon to build another truck lol

Im taking off my sport bumper and replacing it with an ADD stealth winch bumper soon. But mines one piece so not what you looking for

No the second is not a 09-12 grill or bumper, It is a 13+ grill and bumper. You can't Interchange them

I'm sure you can get someone to swap their 09-12 chrome bumper for your sport bumper.

Unless the owner put a custom badge on the side, that looks like an EcoDiesel badge making that at least a '14 truck. It's swappable, just need to a few more parts.

There have been some that have done a 2500 front end swap, but it does involve swapping the hood also IIRC

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the 09-12 grilles were slanted on the corners (red trucks grille) and the 13+ grilles came down to a flat turn at the bumper (Black trucks grille)

So I'm guessing I need a bunch of parts from a 13+ 2500... hmmm... might be more trouble than its worth.

Yea like what I said above I could have sworn that grille on the red truck has the curve at the bottom corners like the 09-12 grilles but I could be wrong.

Nevermind I had it backwards. The 09-12 grille flat turns against the bumper and the 13+ grilles has a curve to it. Makes sense now.

You are mixing up years and two different trucks. Top pic is of a 2500. Bottom pic is of a 1500. The 2500 grill and bumper has not changed since 2010. The 1500 did in 2013

My Grille; 2009-2012 style

2013+ Style Grille

If you look at where the grille meets the bumper the 2013+ has slanted corners whereas my 2012 has a more sharp cut 90° angle turn.

So that means that this grille:

Is a 2013+.

See the only problem with that is I don't like the horizontal fog lights with that bumper.

The whole reason I like the red/black 2 tone truck I originally posted is because of the layout and looks of the bumper. If I put out the money to do all of this I minus well do it with the 13+ and do it right the first time the way I really want it.

Ok so if I get the grille, lower bumper and upper bumper cap for a 13+ 1500 it should all just bolt up to my 12 1500? Or will I need to custom fabricate some brackets?

Just trying to figure out everything I need to buy and do before I start to jump into this conversion.
